NGC Supplier Day 2023

'Riding the Wind for Mutual Benefit' was the 2023 slogan for NGC Group’s Wind Energy Suppliers Conference 2023. Around 200 domestic suppliers took the opportunity to join the conversation about the future of wind energy with NGC and get to know NGC’s new manufacturing plant.

NGC is looking back on 20 years of successful wind energy business. It has recently reached another milestone of having shipped its 100,000th gearbox and released its 18MW gearbox. Achievements which would not have been possible without its suppliers. NGC management thanked all attendees not only verbally, but also with a guided tour through NGC’s recently finished impressive new plant in Jinhu (China).

Todays’ world is focusing more than ever on green energy. China especially has ambitious goals concerning megawatt add-ons in wind energy. NGC has always been fully committed to supporting this rapid growth in demand for clean energy. "Whether in deeper cooperation on land or further expansion on the ocean, we will shoulder this heavy responsibility together with all suppliers to accelerate the renewal and upgrade of product technology, improve quality and reliability, and strengthen the integration of our industrial chains", said Mr. Hu Jichun, President of NGC Group.

Following on from this, Mr. Gu Xiaobin, Chief Operating Officer of NGC Group and General Manager of the Wind Power Division, added that the company hopes to further in-depth cooperation with suppliers. Joint research and development, continuing improvements in product technology and quality, and achieving the goal of high-quality development of the entire platform as well as new mutually beneficial supply chain strategies.
