NGC Group has passed organizational as well as product carbon audit conducted by TÜV SÜD

In June 2024, the internationally accredited independent testing and certification body TÜV SÜD certified the NGC Group's carbon footprint in accordance with ISO 14064 und 14067 compliant standards.

ISO 14064 refers to the corporate carbon footprint (CCF), i.e. the carbon footprint at company level, whereas ISO 14067 includes an assessment of the product carbon footprint (PCF). At company level, the wholly owned subsidiary of the NGC Group, NGC High-Speed Gear Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Huai An, China, was certified. On the product side, the 8.5 MW main wind turbine gearbox underwent a comprehensive audit, including the purchase and transportation of raw and auxiliary materials, product manufacturing and the disposal of production waste.

The certificates are proof of NGC's fruitful efforts in climate management and a further step in actively supporting climate change.
