Metro Gearboxes Developed by NGC for Tunisia Passed First Inspection

After bagging an order of 4,800 sets of rail vehicle gearboxes from South Africa in 2013, NGC has again entered the African market. This time, NGC will provide 362 sets of metro gearboxes for Tunisia, a country located in the northernmost tip of the African continent.

The metro gearboxes for Tunisia are PDM400 two-level-transmission-structure gearboxes. These gearboxes have passed their first inspection last month, which covered various test data, appearance, as well as parts and related technical documents.
