Down-tower was yesterday. Up-tower is today | Significant savings potential when overhauling bearing seats
If bearings required to drive the mechanical pump in a main gearbox need to be replaced, this is typically feasible to do on the turbine tower. The situation changes when the bearing seat is damaged. This occurs if the outer ring of the rolling bearing, normally fixed in the gearbox bore, has rotated.
NGC wins the 5th China Quality Award Nomination
NGC High Speed Gear Manufacturing has been nominated for the 5th China Quality Award, announced during the 6th China Quality Conference in Nanjing on September 16, 2025. The event, themed “Quality: Empowering New Quality Productive Forces,” aims to promote collaboration in global quality initiatives.
Creating Green New Quality Productivity
NGC Group’s Energy Conservation and Emissions Reduction practices were selected as a model case for climate action at the 2025 Climate Action Eco-Partner Conference in Beijing. Nanjing High Speed Gear Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (NGC) was recognized in the “Path to Carbon Neutrality – 2024 Model Cases for Climate Action.” The conference evaluated 41 shortlisted cases across nine categories, highlighting innovative carbon-reduction efforts and promoting replicable, industry-wide climate leadership aligned with peak carbon and carbon neutrality goals.
NGC Customer Day 2025
On April 25, 2025, NGC successfully hosted its Wind Energy Customer Day in Chengdu, themed "High-Quality Wind Energy Control and Co-Creating the Future." The event convened over 150 key stakeholders - including turbine manufacturers, developers, and industry experts - to explore strategic pathways for cost-effective, high-efficiency wind energy solutions in the context of global energy transformation and rising trade barriers.
EU funds NGC Europe's E-Mobility
Sustainability is a major issue for us. As a company working in the renewable energy industry, we take any meaningful sustainability measures that can contribute to a greener future. One such measure is switching parts of our vehicle fleet from petrol to electric. We would like to thank the European Union (NextGenerationEU) for partially funding this measure through the German Recovery and Resilience Plan (DARP). A programme, which aims to promote the replacement of vehicle fleets.
